Based on the information gathered at the site visit and interviews with the child care staff, the licensor has determined that the director did slap a child on the face, whether it was intentional or not. The director stated that she was reaching for the child - who had just slapped three other children - across a cot and when she did this ended up slapping the child face as she was reaching for him. ??
